The project in a specific manner assesses the possibility of utilizing waste water treatment sludge dehydration with the goal of utilizing the product as fuel, such that the excess heated water and/or steam from large facilities is made use of. This approach would allow to save energy when converting sludge to a state where it can be utilized as fuel, while at the same time decreasing treatment and handling costs.
